Our Strategy
Monarch Communications is dedicated to providing public and private
companies with results-driven strategic media relations designed
to help raise that company’s profile among its target audiences
(i.e., investors, consumers, the trade).
Unlike other communications firms, Monarch Communications’
president and founder, Jeff Siegel works directly with each client.
The person that you initially meet and speak with about your business
is the same one who personally works on your account. At Monarch,
there’s no need to worry about having your account passed
off to an inexperienced, junior employee.
Monarch has produced high-impact results for large corporations
(Cantor Fitzgerald, CVS, Gucci), small companies (Tandy Brands Accessories,
Genta, Greek101), public firms (Aventis – NYSE: AVE; Brookstone
– NASDAQ: BKST; Neurocrine Biosciences - NASDAQ: NBIX) and
private businesses (Americana Mortgage Group, Kellner DiLeo Cohen
& Co., LinkShare Corp.).
Monarch has successfully worked with a diverse group of companies
in the following industries: Financial Services, Retail/Apparel/Consumer
Products, Biotechnology and Consumer Healthcare.
Jeff Siegel, Principal
Jeff Siegel has worked as a communications professional for 13 years,
writing, editing and securing high-impact media placements in major
financial, consumer and trade media outlets. Siegel has worked with
top reporters, editors and producers at top-tier media outlets like
The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes, Fortune, BusinessWeek,
The Financial Times, Institutional Investor, USA Today, CNBC, CNNfn,
Bloomberg, Dow Jones, Reuters and others.
Siegel has interviewed and advised executives from Fortune 500
companies and emerging growth companies in several different industries.
Working with such a large and diverse set of companies has provided
Siegel with a unique understanding of several different industries.
In addition, the first-hand experience Siegel gained as a reporter
and editor - he worked for four years as a financial writer at a
leading daily trade publication, writing financial news and features
- proved invaluable when he made the switch from journalism to public
relations in 1996.
Siegel has worked as a senior-level executive at top-tier public
relations agencies including Morgen-Walke Associates (Assistant
Vice-President) and Edelman PR (Vice-President, Financial Communications).
At the beginning of 2003, Siegel decided to combine his vast media
relations experience and skills with a long-standing desire to be
an entrepreneur. The result is Monarch Communications, which provides
public and private companies with hands-on media relations, strategic
advice, media training, crisis communications, copywriting and editing.
